The objectives of this research has been to provide practical guidance for improving dental care service performance and identify the influential drivers. The review addressed the needs of rural/underserved populations, namely children, the elderly and persons with disabilities. A key issue was the implementation of care plans that provided maximum benefits to beneficiaries. Also, the review considered the role of private insurance companies in providing Dental Care.

In this article we present the findings of the current study on dental care service quality improvement across the nation. We identify five major challenges and suggest measures for addressing them. First, clinical documentation must be comprehensive, accurate and consistent. Also note that any dental treatment procedure should be a fun and educational journey for patients.

At present, there are many challenges affecting the practice of dentists in America. One of the most significant is inadequate access to qualified and experienced dental professionals. The American Dental Association (ADA) estimates that one out of every six persons suffer a dental emergency during a year. These emergency conditions can lead to tooth loss, tooth decay, tooth extraction, broken teeth and more. Many people with severe dental emergencies don't receive the immediate medical attention they need. This may result in delayed treatment, increased pain, tooth loss or tooth erosion and other complications.

Second, poor clinical documentation can cause delays in getting an emergency referral and the necessary emergency treatment. Emergency conditions can include tooth decay or jaw injuries. The treatment required can be delayed if the dentist has no idea how to accurately assess these conditions. Another problem is that there are few hospitals that have the capacity to treat a dental emergency case, especially if it is not life-threatening. Third, there is a lack of collaboration among dentists. In the United States, dentists often do not know how to communicate with each other about various conditions including tooth decay, gum disease and dental emergencies. This leads to delay in treatment and possible misdiagnosis. When a patient needs emergency dental care services, there is a need for dentists to collaborate with their colleagues and establish a dental emergency care service.

Finally, many dentists are unable to handle cases on their own because of their limited dental training and experience. Emergency dentists must have completed a comprehensive dental training program that introduces them to the latest technology, strategies and practices. These courses are usually available from a dentist school or hospital. However, many dentists who do not have these courses are unable to complete their training due to lack of funds. As a result, the American Dental Association recommends dentists to complete the courses in addition to obtaining professional certification, so they can perform their jobs appropriately.
